was producing these muskets in the
1780's, however, they were not adopted
by the British military until 1793.
They were used right into the 1830's.
Many were converted to Percussion.
Ideal for 1812 and Napoleonic period
and Mexican War. Some were used
in the civil war as well.
This repro is one of the best available.
